The first short story collection “Suryamukhi” by popular social media storyteller Asim Talukdar contains a total of twenty stories. In most of the stories, instead of focusing on abstract ideas, emphasis has been given to the various challenges faced by people in their everyday lives, especially those brought about by modern living. The last two stories are science-based, with time travel as their central theme. Several stories in this collection were previously published in magazines and newspapers such as Gariyosi, Prantik, Bismoy, and Dainik Asom.
