The novel ‘যাত্ৰাৰ শেষ নাই’ (‘There is No End to the Journey’) covers various aspects of the journey of the author that began in his childhood but has not yet ended. The novel is based on a historical temple in the middle of Guwahati city decades ago. It is essentially a love story that fails due to social constraints, through which the author tries to elevate human love to a spiritual level. The author has beautifully crafted the novel by combining the real experiences of some of the stories that took place around the royal temple with a touch of imagination. Naturally, it contains poverty, love and separation, happiness and sorrow and the mistaken social environment of Guwahati city at that time.
