“Saisavate dhemalite” is a collection of childhood adventures of a group of five young boys including the author himself in Assam’s heartland. Most mischievous of them is Harakanta, who usually conceives all the plans. The author while humorously narrating their misadventures, ends the stories with life lessons it taught them. The comical illustrations in the book are noteworthy and give the book its unique taste.
